I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear. Ankara and other African styled prints have become increasingly popular over the years. Everyone from celebrities to top bloggers can be seem rocking some amazing African inspired styles, but where can you get them?
There are plenty of online boutiques and a few brick and mortars that I can point you to but don't expect the prices to be similiar to that of Forever21 or H&M. African printed skirts for example can run you between $50-$180!
Personally I purchase my fabrics from a local vendor and take them to my seamstress who then makes something based on my specifications. Sometime I even dust off my sewing machine and some things myself. I've compiled a list of some of the top places to shop for African print clothing
