Top 5 DC Brunch Buffets

On Sundays we Brunch!

Sometimes on Saturdays too. There is no doubt that brunch has surely became a culture and the warmer weather allows us to fully indulge in the new social norm. In Washington, DC you don’t have to look too far before finding a good brunch spot. I personally prefer for my brunch to be buffet style and bottomless. Below are 5 of my favorite buffet/bottomless brunches in the DC area.

1. Beacon Bar and Grill

The bottomless/buffet is only offered on Sundays, not Saturday. Located in the heart of DC this spot is a must on my list. The offer all the brunch staples; waffles, bacon, omelette station, salads, and the list goes on! I highly recommend a reservation for this location or your wait will be forever. Go with a reliable group of friends because they don’t like to sit incomplete parties, consider traveling as a group. Parking (like most places in DC) is tough so plan ahead or uber. http://bbgwdc.com/sunday-brunch/

2. Hawthorne

If you walk too fast you'll miss it. I’ve been to this restaurant/club at night for parties but never for brunch. I dined here with some of my blogger babes one Saturday and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. The French toast and chicken are my go to dishes at this location, it doesn’t take much to please me! They also have a rooftop, so your snapchat posts can be LIT! http://www.hawthornedc.com/menus/

3. Alero

This is one of the least expensive brunch buffets I’ve been too. They offer carne asada, quesadillas, Mexican rice, bacon, and much more. They also have outside seating so you can sip your mimosa while working on your tan. I typically opt for the U st. location but Alero had a second location in Dupont Circle. http://www.alerorestaurant.com/what-we-do/

4. Farmers Fishers and Bakers

This is the type of restaurant you want to book in advance for brunch, they are always busy! The food is excellent too! Some of my favorite foods include the kale salad, fried chicken, guacamole, French toast and thick cut bacon. This is one of my favorite restaurant for all occasion as it sits right on the Georgetown Waterfront, I recommend sitting outside if the weather permits. No matter what get there early and park in the garage if you have no luck on the street, DC meter maids are always on duty. http://www.farmersfishersbakers.com/menus/brunch/

5. Ozios

This spot in known for their night life but I once attended brunch on their rooftop and realized that they had more to offer than Saturday night thrills. The brunch usually turns into a day party so if you want to eat and do some cardio this scene is for you. The brunch menu varies as they sometimes invite local restaurant and chefs to host the brunch. The time I went they had red velvet waffles, mac and cheese and pasta! http://oziodc.com/

Let me know who else should be included in this list!
